Microneedling Skin Rejuvenation
Refresh, renew, and support healthier-looking skin with a customized microneedling treatment at Essence of Thirst Wellness Lounge.
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive treatment that creates tiny, controlled microchannels in the skin. These microchannels activate the body’s natural healing response and support the production of collagen and elastin.
Over time, this renewal process can help improve the skin’s texture, tone, firmness, and overall appearance. Each treatment is customized according to your skin type, concerns, and personal skincare goals.
What Microneedling May Improve
Microneedling may help improve the appearance of:
• Fine lines and early signs of aging
• Acne scars and other mild scarring
• Uneven skin texture
• Uneven skin tone
• Enlarged pores
• Dull or tired looking skin
• Mild skin laxity
• Sun damaged skin
• Overall skin smoothness and radiance
Microneedling is not intended to completely erase scars, wrinkles, or pigmentation. Results vary depending on the condition being treated, treatment depth, skincare routine, age, and the body’s natural healing response.

Signature Microneedling with Hyaluronic Acid
Our foundational microneedling treatment uses a sterile hyaluronic acid serum to provide slip during the procedure while supporting hydration and a smoother, refreshed appearance.
This option is an excellent starting point for patients who want to improve general skin texture, enlarged pores, fine lines, dullness, and overall radiance.
Best for:
• First time microneedling patients
• General skin rejuvenation
• Dry or dull looking skin
• Fine lines and enlarged pores
• Uneven texture
What to Expect During Treatment
Your skin will be cleansed and prepared before treatment. A topical numbing medication may be applied to improve comfort.
The microneedling device is then passed across the treatment area using a depth selected for your skin type and concerns. Treatment depth may vary across different areas of the face.
The entire appointment may take approximately 45 to 75 minutes, depending on the selected treatment and whether blood collection and processing are required.
Results and Downtime
Immediately after treatment, the skin may appear red, warm, or mildly swollen, similar to a light sunburn. Mild tightness, dryness, sensitivity, flaking, or pinpoint crusting may also occur as the skin heals.
Redness and sensitivity commonly improve within one to three days, although some patients may experience visible dryness or flaking for several additional days.
The skin may begin to look brighter and smoother as it heals. Collagen production occurs gradually, so continued improvement may develop over several weeks to months.
Individual results and recovery times vary.
Recommended Treatment Plan
For general skin rejuvenation, a starting series of three treatments spaced approximately four to six weeks apart may be recommended.
Patients receiving treatment for acne scarring, deeper texture concerns, or more advanced signs of aging may benefit from additional sessions.
Your recommended number of treatments will be based on your skin concerns, treatment response, and personal goals. Maintenance treatments may be scheduled periodically to help preserve results.
Important Treatment Information
Microneedling may not be appropriate for everyone. Treatment may need to be postponed or avoided for patients with certain conditions, including active skin infections, open wounds, active cold sores, uncontrolled acne breakouts, impaired healing, or certain bleeding disorders.
Please disclose all medical conditions, medications, allergies, recent procedures, and skincare products during your consultation.
A consultation and skin assessment are required to determine the most appropriate treatment option for you. Results are not guaranteed and may vary from person to person.
PDRN Microneedling
PDRN Microneedling combines traditional microneedling with a topical PDRN skin serum. PDRN, which stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide, is a skincare ingredient commonly derived from purified salmon DNA fragments.
This elevated treatment is designed to support hydration, skin renewal, and a smoother, healthier looking complexion. PDRN is not a dermal filler and does not add facial volume.
Best for:
• Dull or dehydrated skin
• Uneven texture
• Fine lines
• Skin that appears stressed or tired
• Patients seeking an enhanced skin rejuvenation experience
Patients with known fish allergies or sensitivities should inform the provider before treatment. Product ingredients and treatment suitability will be reviewed during the consultation.
PRP or PRF Microneedling
PRP and PRF Microneedling use components prepared from a small sample of your own blood.
The blood sample is processed in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate platelet-containing plasma or fibrin. The prepared PRP or PRF is then incorporated into the microneedling treatment according to the individualized treatment plan.
Platelets contain naturally occurring proteins and growth factors involved in the body’s healing response. Because the treatment uses material obtained from your own blood, it is considered an autologous treatment.
Best for:
• Acne scars
• Fine lines
• Uneven skin texture
• Dull or aging skin
• Patients seeking a more advanced regenerative treatment option
PRP and PRF are prepared and handled using established medical and infection control protocols. Results vary, and consultation is required to determine whether this treatment is appropriate for you.
